If A Picture Paints A Thousand Words
Where Will You're Homecoming be?
Is it where you come from,
Is it somewhere that you’ve been?
Or a moment from a time you’ve never seen.
An image lost in memory,
or a story that you've heard.
Connected to you with invisible string?
*
Do you ever think about it,
getting lost inside a picture?
Set the stage, imagine, then simply letting go.
Surrender, disappearing from where you are, to far away.
Somewhere, no one else will ever know.
*
What’s the scene that captures you,
makes you feel like you’re alive ?
Where do you feel the most like being home?
Somewhere you’d come back to,
time and time again.
That place you feel safe, never alone.
*
Dive right in, become the scenery,
strong and steady like the trees.
Bright and warming as the sun,
carefree and endless as the sea.
A waterfall so powerful,
or a rippling brook, cascading,
gliding down the bends, like wandering autumn leaves.
Floating on a gentle breeze
a warm calming, summer wind.
in the meadows where the horses wildly run free.
Gazing at the stars with hints of jasmine in the air,
in forests green, with no where else to be.
*
Or is it where you find yourself,
in the place you call your home?
Surrounded with loved ones and family.
making memories with your heart,
building a life story, or family tree.
Leaving behind a perfect legacy.
*
Home is a simple word,
with a multitude of meanings.
No right or wrong it’s solely up to you.
Whatever picture sets the scene,
you’re the artist of your world~
Savor the moments and enjoy picking your view.,
