I Wore You Like My Favourite Colour

Burning sun rays clung to our bare bodies

dewed with sweat, salty from the heavenly

connection of sea salt and passion.

Steady air cooled down with a momentary

breeze and the drops of sweat slid down

your graceful curves.

Your nipples almost-like touched the sky

and my palm clung to your chest in a magnetic force

and I wore you like my favourite colour, ocean blue.

Originally written in my mother tongue, Czech.

Spalující paprsky lpěly na našich nahých tělech

orosených potem, slaných z nebeského spojení

mořské soli a vášně.

Stojatý vzduch se z nenadání ochladil

vteřinovým vánkem a kapičky potu sklouzly

z tvých ladných křivek.

Bradavky jako by se dotkly nebe a má dlaň

se přilnula k tvé hrudi jako magnet.

Nosila jsem tě jako mou oblíbenou barvu, oceánově modrou.
