I Won The Lottery Of Love
I never bought a ticket,
never spun the wheel,
but the night I met you,
I knew the deal was sealed.
No numbers on a slip,
no fortune-teller’s guess,
just your eyes like wildfire
and my heart saying yes.
You walked in like danger,
soft lips, sharp grin,
and every dull day before you
felt like some worn-out sin.
I didn’t strike gold,
I found something more rare,
the kind of rush that makes gamblers
forget what they wear.
You are thrill and treasure,
heat and spark,
a jackpot that lit up
my once quiet dark.
I won the lottery, darling,
when your fingers found mine,
and your kiss turned the ordinary
into something divine.
