I wish you were here

Villanelle Poem

By Amanda ReisingerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I wish you were here

To teach me your life lessons

Our family is not the same

since you left this earth three years ago

To teach me your life lessons

I miss watching you make an impact

Since you left this earth three years ago

My heart continues to shatter like glass

I miss watching you make an impact

I want to learn everything you knew

My heart continues to shatter like glass

You were the glue that kept our family together

I want to learn everything you knew

Our family is not the same

You were the glue that kept our family together

I wish you were here

I also have this published on one of my blogs: https://jeanscreativewriting.blogspot.com/2019/09/i-wish-you-were-here.html
