looking in the mirror

reflection bringing pain

as I know the universe is playing no games

you were sent to reflect my shadows

and the anxiety it portrays

as my eyes cringe

and my heart sinks

In a weird space

but I’m keeping faith

on my bended knees

with my hands on my chest

taking deep breaths

cause it’s killing me inside

but you’ve held it down

the intensity

has fear in me

and this energy

is it make believe?
