You really want to vanish?
Well, I suppose we could do it the hard way-
You really want to do this?
Well, if nothing can convince you to stay….
Chase down a pixie
And steal its magic dust,
Steal some lucky horseshoes
And pray iron won’t rust,
Booby trap a leprechaun and demand some magic wishes,
Stalk the Salmon of Knowledge, and other magic fishes,
Summon up a fairy, and take its magic wand,
Or wish upon a falling star, and hope it will respond.
Nab a flashy-thingy from the M-I-B,
Hop a ride on a friendly kelpie,
Rub a magic lamp until it squeaks,
Go surfing with a joyful selkie,
Sneak into a magic circle when the fairies dance at night,
Play so well the faerie queen will whisk you out of sight,
Catch a lucky rabbit with a foot that’s still attached,
Or pull a shawl through a golden ring, for a lifelong match.
And when you’ve accomplished one of these
And can embrace freedom’s coup,
Please consider your one true love-
And take me along with you.
