The wind outside blows me over,
And the rain never stops,
I can't go outside;
Though, I will stand here
on my doorstep,
Until my umbrella pops!
I awoke on the second morning,
And, I made a cup of tea;
I stared outside of my window,
To see the world's still mad at me,
I won't crawl back into my bed,
Even though the sky spells doom;
I won't keep my curtains closed,
Hiding this impending doom,
I will laugh my worries away,
I will fight to enjoy my day,
I will sing, dance, and smile my way,
Through another stormy day!
