I Want You to Be Mine
Will you agree or pass me by, if you do I will surely die

I Want You to Be Mine
I want you to be mine, not just for a night,
but for every sunrise, bathed in golden light.
For every whisper the moon sends our way,
for all of forever, come what may.
I want to hold you, fingers entwined,
lost in a world where hearts align.
To trace my name on your skin,
a love so deep; where do I begin?
I want your laughter, your sighs, your tears,
to chase away shadows, to quiet your fears.
I want your mornings, your midnight dreams,
your love that flows like endless streams.
I want your voice to fill my days,
like sunlight cutting through the haze.
Your lips, your touch, your heart so true—
there’s nothing else I’d rather do.
I want to dance with you in time,
to call you love, to call you mine.
No silly old wish, no past sign,
just you and me, forever entwined.
So tell me, love, will you be mine?
Not just for now, but for always.
I want your voice to fill my days,
like sunlight cutting through the haze.
Your lips, your touch, your heart so true;
there’s nothing else I’d rather do.
I want to dance with you in time,
to call you love, to call you mine.
No fleeting wish, no passing sign,
just you and me for all time.

This reflects the power of unconditional love. Very powerful poem. I enjoyed reading it!
This is beautiful Marie. Such a lovely poem. 🥰
This is so heartfelt and dreamy—like a timeless love song wrapped in poetry. The rhythm flows beautifully, and the repetition makes it feel like a heartfelt plea straight from the soul. Pure romance!
