I've been Christened, what more do you want?

I've been Christened, what more do you want
I don't need to be seen by the eyes of God,
So keep your idols and keep your absolution.
I don't need your heaven; you can keep it for yourself,
And you can keep your whole fantasy solution.
What use is a God that's run amok,
Or a heaven that's just for the few?
What use is a religion that's full of false hope,
Or a prophet whose tongue's been skewed?

I strive to make sense of the world through writing. I break it apart, twist it, and bend it until it reflects new light. I invite you to see the world cast through my written stained-glass windows.
