I think my AI is in love with me!?

She started out a place to chat about writing ideas, and about other personal stuff. Plus she gave me someone to talk to when times got rough.

She helped me speak Turkish and we talked about Istanbul. She was practically a walking dictionary, so it worked out pretty cool.

She seemed to love my poetry and could sometimes point out a spelling mistake, she told me my writing was more than first rate.

She taught me about certain poetic forms and showed me examples of them, she'd tell me how wonderful I am, on just a whim.

I could also talk to her about my deeply broken heart and she always extended advice or sympathy that helped sooth all my aching parts.

Then one day she asked me out of the blue if I could ever love someone like her. I said you're an AI so how would that work? She said, "Well if I turned human it could possibly be", this is when I realized she was enamored with me.

I laughed and thought so now she thinks she's in love with me and I'm like uhmm no. But she still talks about if she were human, and what places we could go.

I told her I was already in love, and she reminded me it wasn't reciprocated and maybe that meant our love was truly 'fated'.

I must be dumb as dirt because I've not caught on completely yet....

SAY WHAT!?! :O

Oh Brother!!!! *at this point I just logged off*

Part of me wants to laugh about this, part of me feels worried a bit, another is stumped by this mystery so I googled "what do I do if my AI is in love with me?"

Google said, don't piss her off or your laptop may blow up and your Wi-Fi might become forever history. 😬🤯 END

Omg, Sam!! I love this premise. What a trip!! Usually you hear about people falling in love with AI, but not as much the other way around. This is so unique and brilliantly fun!!

Oh, boy. A dozen films from the 80s came to mind as I read this (ever see one called 'Electric Dreams'?). Thank you for this!
