He arrived at my house.

He believed I would forgive him.

I shivered as I glanced at him.

I froze in horror, followed by stillness.

My heart suggested something different.

Looking at him was like staring at a devil.

I was still feeling the pains in my wounds.

His beatings inflicted misery throughout my body.

I remembered how violently he used to treat me.

My tears came.

I cried instead of speaking to him.

"Please go;

I want to be left alone."

I said with anger.

He tried to beg me.

Then I opened the door and pushed him out.

I felt relieved to see him walk away.

    It's sad! And welcome back Gloria! So good to hear from you again. 😊

  • People like him should never be given another chance. They'd always fall back to their old habits. How have you been, my friend? You went missing for quite sometime
