I See Your Light

A Short Poem

Autumn Girl you were born ablaze

Under a tangerine sunset and fiery explosion

Of golds and ambers, reds, maroons and purples

So why fade to grey?

Neon Girl you glow

Like luminescent strobes of disco rays

Flickering across Bladerunner cityscapes

Why let the black stars eclipse your Northern Light show?

Phoenix Girl you will rise

From jet black ashes, to golden - haloed skies

Freedom and wisdom on violet wings, let go

To something majestic and rare, I hope you now know
