*A dear friend and member of our Church lost her brother on Monday

I see you

And your grief

The tears you

Cry

Don’t make

You weak

Perhaps

They give

You strength.

I see you

And the pain

You hide

Beneath a

Sad smile.

It’s okay

Not to be

Okay

For awhile

Grief isn't

Something

You have

To hide

In the

Shadows.

It’s okay

To feel a

Little broken

A little lost

And confused

It doesn’t lessen

Your strength

If anything

It amplifies

It

As you walk

Through grief.

So cry those tears

If you need to

Ask the questions

Allow yourself

To feel what you

Feel

Because it is

Only then

Healing can

Truly

Begin.
