I never learn

I did it again

By Aubrey jamesPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

I agree, like most people I have a problem

I care a lot

I shouldn’t but I do

I smother you with love

I choke you with affection

I seem to forget that too much of everything is bad

I simply want you to have it all

But instead I hurt you

And you look for ways to escape

Because I’m suffocating you

Because my very presence strangles you

What am I supposed to do

I just love you

Can’t I just want to always be by your side

You say absence makes the heart grow fonder

But I’m not taking any chances

So you don’t forget me.
