I need you

Even after goodbye, its still you

By Md. Muzammal Rahman PirPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Don’t come like rain—

Come like a storm

That shakes this lifeless heart awake once more.

I’ve painted every dream with your face,

Sat through endless nights

Writing poems only your soul could trace.

You left…

But that doesn’t mean it's over.

In every song, every silence,

I still look for your voice like a desperate lover.

Your laughter still echoes

In the places we used to be—

Even the walls remember

What you meant to me.

I’m not the same boy anymore…

I’ve built a world from pain and promises,

A universe where you were the sun,

And I was just learning to orbit.

If I ever get you back,

I won’t love you in halves—

I’ll tear open the sky,

Burn down the stars,

And give you a love

That even the gods would envy from afar.

So if you ever come back again—

Come not as a memory,

But as a forever I never got to keep.
