In every breath, I feel your name,
A burning spark, a gentle flame,
I need you close, I need you near,
To calm my soul, to ease my fear.
The world feels empty when you’re gone,
But with your love, I carry on,
Your touch, your voice, they make me whole,
You are the keeper of my soul.
Without you, time just drifts away,
And nights stretch into endless day,
I need your heart to guide my way,
In love with you, I long to stay.
So come to me, don’t drift afar,
You are my light, my shining star,

More than sweet words, I cherish the people who are willing to show up for me. The steps to losing a child
Step One: Lose a child. Not what anyone wants to happen and nothing you can do to change it, but you can go through steps to becoming happy again. You can go through steps to loving again. You can go through steps to become a new you because after losing a child you will never be the same person you once were.
