I miss the memories I felt good about.
I was happy and I didn't recognize
That good time...

I was free, I smiled often.
I thought I could always keep that feeling,
But even happiness leaves deep wounds
And scars.

I miss the sun, wearing my favorite T-shirt.
I miss hearing the sound of her laughter
Inside my smile.

A good joke and many stories
To share between our lips -
Thousands of new feelings,
Hundreds of old words.

I miss the memories I just dreamed of,
I was fine then. I'm sad now.
I miss the memories.

If anything I’ve written has been helpful to you, or if you’re just feeling generous, feel free to support me in any way you can. Even if all you can do is send Tip to support me, I’ll be very appreciative...
