**I'm Sorry For**

I'm sorry for the words I didn't say,

For the moments lost along the way.

I'm sorry for the tears you cried alone,

For the heartaches I could have known.

I'm sorry for the chances left untaken,

For the promises that were mistaken.

I'm sorry for the silence in the night,

For the worries that I didn't make right.

I'm sorry for the dreams I let slip by,

For the laughter that faded with a sigh.

I'm sorry for the times I caused you pain,

For the sunshine lost in clouds of rain.

I'm sorry for the distance that grew between,

For the misunderstandings unforeseen.

I'm sorry for the love I couldn't show,

For the seeds of doubt I let grow.

But most of all, I'm sorry for my pride,

For the moments when I chose to hide.

I'm sorry for not being brave and true,

For not always being there for you.

Yet in these words, I hope you see,

A heart that beats with honesty.

For though mistakes may mark my score,

My love for you is evermore.

So here I stand, with open heart,

To mend what's torn, to make a start.

I'm sorry, dear, for all I've done,

Let's build anew, and in love, we'll run.
