I’m Blue

Colors of Me

By Liz W. WagnerPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I’m Blue like the sunset dancing on the ocean’s water

And I’m Gold like the sun refracted between eyes

I’m Silver like the cracks slipping through the ice

And I’m Green like the breath between trees

I’m Rosy like a child’s flushed cheeks

And I’m Firey like the center of the sun

I Shimmer like light pulled through a faceted orb

And I hold Steady like brown roots weaving through the soil

My Darkest spaces are blacker than night sealed within a vacuum

And I Glow like flowers in bloom

My colors of Light don’t condense within a rainbow’s arch

And My depths of dark cannot be captured by your film

I don’t fit any mold that’s been created for me

So watch as I build myself something New; Something Blue
