I Love You

Love In Words.

I Love You

You make my heart flutter like butterflies,

My head spins like an ever-revolving dance floor,

Fireworks spark every time I am near you,

But this is not the point.

I can be my authentic self around you,

I don't have to hide my anger,

Or my tears,

I can just be me,

We laugh and we cry,

We argue,

We often hurt together behind closed doors,

Where nobody can see our tears,

We pick each other up when we are ill,

Where we share feelings and intimacy that only

You and I know about,

We don't just love each other because

we think the other is hot,

We know love is more than looks,

Being strong,

Or being beautiful,

Love is everything that is inside a person,

It's not just admiration, or hot sex,

Love is accepting everything beautiful,

Bad and ugly,

And still being there at the end of it all,

And this is why,

I love you.
