without wiping your tears
without your smile
without singing together

without breaking
without spilling over
without you seeing my sadness

I love you from afar
Every word I want to say to you
I stop it by tearing it apart on my tongue
My words are falling drop by drop
on an innocent white page
I bleed ink
made of unsaid words
I dare not speak any longer
because you do not love me
like that
but I love you
from afar and I always will.
