I love my color

In it I find the richness of my world

The sheer perseverance and depth of my soul

I love my color

It represents my true identity

Its deepness will reach its full destiny

And I still love my color

In it I find my comfort

And in it I see discomfort

In it - I know that I am strong

Color cannot be wrong

No matter the whispers told

My color – protects me from the old

Rides on my surface

Glides on my surface

A barrier of my inner being

Color- the essence of richness

Interpretation forces some into rebellion

Crying out in loud screams

Burdened with misunderstandings

Born with soul

Born into color

Blessed as blessed can be

And Yes, I love my color

My color is me

Passed down from ancestors

The hue

The glow

The tones

The scars

The flaws

Its uniqueness

All mine

Only mine

I love my color

I am Color
