I long for shoes that catch the eye,
That sparkle, shimmer, and catch the light.
But fear and doubt hold me back,
Afraid that others may mock or attack.
I worry what they'll say and think,
If I step out in shoes that blink.
Will they judge me for my style?
Or laugh at me and stay awhile?
So I settle for shoes that blend,
That don't stand out, but don't offend.
I hide away the pain inside,
Of feeling like I can't take the stride.
But maybe it's time to take a chance,
To step outside my comfort dance.
To wear the shoes that make me smile,
To walk with confidence and style.
For when I shine, I light the way,
And show the world that I'm okay.
I am unique, I am me,
And that's the best that I can be.
So I'll take a deep breath and make a choice,
To listen to my heart and find my voice.
To embrace my style, to take a chance,
And show the world my dazzling dance.
For shoes are more than just an accessory,
They're a symbol of my identity.
So I'll wear the shoes that shine and gleam,
And let my true self reign supreme.
