I'll fly
A challenge to myself: A series where I write a poem every single day for 30 days.

I keep failing the path I walk
Life's shouting at, doesn't want to talk
Harder than a puzzle, clean streets—a rubble
Waking up everyday to TROUBLE, TROUBLE, TROUBLE
Every night I hear the phrase, "GIVE UP"
Every dawn kicks me and says, "GET UP"
I'm tired of crying every single noon
I stopped getting answers while staring at moon
My journey was a fairy tale you see
It's an apocalypse now and the victim is ME
But after all that pain, I still must drive through
All the promises I made to myself must come true
'Cause I can't betray that little me who dreamt
She wanted to touch the sky, and she should be sent
So, let me fall and die
Let me touch the sky
Let me hurt and cry
There will be a day—I'll fly
.

It's so sad when a fairytale becomes an apocalypse. Loved your poem! I'm sooo happy you're back. Can you access Vocal as usual or do you still have to use VPN?
"It felt good to see the notification that you uploaded something How are you, sister? 😊😊 This poem is wonderful, a mix of despair and incredible courage. Interesting challenge! Huh 😀
