I Know You’re Lying
Cause Your Mouth Is Moving

Truth.
The best lies you’ll find are wrapped up in it
Truth
You wouldn’t know it if it bit you
Truth
Requires being independent
If you haven’t tried it baby, maybe you should
Truth
Just another foreign concept
Truth
One you shouldn’t let pass by
Truth
Another word for being honest
But here you are again too tangled up in lies
Truth
Five little letters, but they pack a punch
Truth
The ticket needed for the final ride
Truth
What it offers should have been enough
But you’re what exists when black and white collide
Too late?
Have you dug in too deep
Damn fate
And turn yourself around
Last chance
You’re more than what is seen
Reveal true character before you hit the ground

A powerful exploration of truth and its elusive nature. The stark contrast between the ideal of truth and the reality of deception is striking. The poem's raw emotion and poignant message resonate deeply. A thought-provoking piece that lingers in the mind.
This seemed very lyrical to me (maybe because of the repetition) and I sang it to my own tune hehegehe
Truth is supposed to be true, but there seems to be a lot of grey areas in dealing with being true. Good work
Falling seems like flying to those who make no effort to change their direction. Well-wrought!
Insightful and so very true. 💜c
Beautiful poem!
Well damn! Not gonna lie, I was distracted by those abs at first, lol! But this is fire and so true!!
