I Know Why My Cellphone Sings

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Pressed a smart city,
Which is
One of many.
My sung, louder than
An old boom box,
Pretty late and
Wakes oh too soon.
Go back to sleep.
A night owl on the phone
Checks if you're okay
Tonight... Even
Sound is not safe.
Constantly wants
Out of this phone case.
Good stevens!
Small and can' t handle
A losing record, the blues.
Neighbors, local news...
Boring.
Landmarks, towers.
I know why my cellphone sings.
