To have success,

I know how that is.

It is to dwell,

to be vain,

but know injustice for others.

To be lonely,

I know how that is.

It is to sing,

to fill a void,

but silence goes on in your soul.

To be loving,

I know how that is.

It is to fear,

to protect,

but forget oneself in concern.

To be patient,

I know how that is.

It is to wait,

to be annoyed,

but to not complain about it.

To be anxious,

I know how that is.

It is to lade,

to be fueled,

by ill memories of the past.

To be angry,

I know how that is.

It is to hold,

to weep within,

painfully unaware of it.
