Words From the Past

**Introduction:**

Sometimes, words written in the past carry even more meaning in the present. While going through my old writings, I rediscovered poetry I wrote back in 2010, during my mid-20s—a time of reflection, growth, and deep emotions. These pieces capture moments of love, struggle, and self-discovery, and I’m excited to share them with you.

If you enjoy my writing, I invite you to explore my eBook website, **Flame & Fiction**! My latest book, *A Bond Through the Fire*, is available now, and you can download the **first chapter for free**. Dive into a story of resilience, love, and destiny by visiting:

I Knew -Written by: Commodore Jones and a Stranger (BlkStallyun)

Commodore:

that when I saw you at the bar,

fine Brotha that you are,

you would be the one to take

me to the next level of love.

I just wanted to hug you

Simply because I knew

and I watched

while you sipped on your drink

I couldn't help but to think.

Why my body started to shiver

and my insides begin to quiver.

Did you feel that heat

when I finally decided to speak?

Thinking about that Victoria Secret.

Glad that I decided to keep it.

Though its' threads are so fragile

you'd have to take it off easy.

On second thought,

I don't care if you rip it right off

of me.

Better yet, let me take it

off for you.

I just want to show you.

Did you step off the page

of a General Quality magazine?

I bet under that Armani

you body is so lean.

Muscles so tight that's

how I

like it that you're checking me out too

Your eyes say what you want to

do

to me.

Then the D.J. played my favorite

song.

Oh yes I knew it all along.

When you walked towards me

I knew it was going to be.

I told my girls that you was

gonna be my man

when you reached out

your hand

and you said . . .

BlkStallyun:

Hello Miss

they are playing my song

and I hope

you don't

think I come off too strong

but I'd love to have

this dance with you

and I'm kinda hoping that

you wanna dance with me too.

I've been checking you out

from across the room.

My eyes focused on you

like a camera on zoom.

Let's dance, flirt and talk with each other.

That's the only way to get way to

get to know one another.

As I let you lead me out

to the dance floor,

I saw a lot of things that I adore.

Painted On Jeans profiling that tail

make me glad that I am born a male.

See through white silk shit and no bra.

In most states it's against the law.

Nipples peeking thru winking at me.

got me in mind of where I'd like to be

Shutting out the others

that really don't matter

as we pay no mind to

the room full of chatter.

I'm sensing you're

feeling me

and you'd like to be

alone with me

touching you

teasing you

making you sigh

and moan . . .
