Stop right here for a minute
Let me remember you
How your hair falls so effortlessly out of your eyes, your knuckle and neck cracking routine
Laying my head on your chest
As you run you hands along my sides
Holding my hand in the car and throwing glimpses my way when something funny is said
Getting high like we’re young enough to then drafting a 6 year plan
like this is a sure thing
If I could paint or model clay or draw I would construct the you I love
but it would never do justice to the person laying next to me
Right now is my favourite part, and you’re sitting in the morning light just perfectly
So just hold still
And Let me remember you
Before I fuck it all up
About the Creator
AJ
Because locking myself in a dimly lit house on the seaside and feverishly pouring my soul out on a typewriter is not available to me right now

I love the sheer bit of human nature found within your poem.
