I Hope It Was Worth It

a poem

By CT IdlehousePublished about a year ago 1 min read

"Have you seen the price of milk today?"

"Why are TV shows so gay?"

"Why do I have to call you they now?"

/

These are the reasons,

You still fucking vote for him,

All blind belief, no logic found.

/

I hope it was worth it...

When your children die,

Because of his lies.

I hope it was worth it...

When your daughter's life,

Is sacrificed for her unborn child's.

I hope it was worth it.

/

"I hate all these faggots,"

"We should bring lynching back,"

"We should rape all these feminist whores."

/

All hate and no substance,

Well, you got what you wanted,

And you still want to start a civil war.

/

I hope it was worth it...

When you're still in jail

Because he didn't actually give you bail.

I hope it was worth it...

When you die alone

With no one to call on the phone.

I hope it was worth it.
