I haven’t seen you since the rain
fell dripping from the ashen sky.
.
I haven’t seen you since the sky
was torn asunder by fire like
trumpets blaring the end of time.
.
I haven’t seen you since the moon
fell in pieces to the ocean floor
to reflect the ending we all saw
coming for us, our man made doom.
.
I haven’t seen you since the sun
began to weep fire, buildings burning,
all destroyed in fire and smoke.
.
I haven’t seen you since the rain
brought the ending of our world.
