But how can I believe them since I accidentally fell in love again today...
When that little old lady made room for me in L.A. traffic.I saw her cute little expression in the rearview mirror rooting for me to merge on over and I accidentally fell in love.
When that darling little child asked me to help him open his lunch pail and gave me the warmest hug in the world when I did. What’s one lunch pail, I’d open all the lunch pails in the world for such a warm hug, because with him I accidentally I fell in love. Again!
When my Papa stops all business with a genuine smile in his eyes partially out of amusement but mostly out of concern just because I called and asked for help.When he is always patiently waiting and generously accommodating, and giving and caring and never ONCE asking for anything in return of his children other than the “hug tax” that he collects after all the favors he bestows I fell in love once again.

Well, I did enjoy this! Sometimes, all you need is just great storytelling and this is what Lucille Guarino delivers here. There's no big message to this book; it's just about folks and families, living their lives and coping with everything that's being thrown at them and finding their way. But when it's done well, like it is here, then you have characters to whom you can relate, tension which leaves you rooting for a better outcome, attraction which has your heart racing and an urge, as a reader, to see the characters happy with the people with whom they belong.
