I fell for the journey
Sometimes, you find out that you love what you never wanted
Wrote for the trees and wrote for the star
A new point, a different theme, witnessing eyes from afar
A million ideas igniting brain membranes
Need a notebook inside cells to write those sparks
Sought for the 'destination' and fell in love with 'journey'
The pain of beauty, and the beauty of pain
Bumps teach you to drive, pains are a gain

Good job Maryam. I have not gotten into free verse, but I must try it. It will be a challenge because I like my poetry to flow like the words of a song.
This poem was so relatable. You did an excellent job .
you are one of best writers, keep up the good work
You did a wonderful job! 👏
"Wow! This is amazing. In free verse, this is a wonderful beginning. "Sought for the 'destination' and fell in love with 'journey' The pain of beauty, and the beauty of pain" These lines are truly remarkable; I will keep repeating them all day. I have no words, dear sister. I am very surprised and happy to see that you are improving yourself every day. Whether it’s freeing yourself from bad habits or infusing life into your writing. You have my respect, sister; your determination to bring about change and improve yourself is truly commendable. I have received so much inspiration from you—a true inspiration. Please don’t mention mistakes!"
