I Feel Unseen
An Invisible Man's Abecedarian

All of you are so eager to be seen!
Before that aching need makes you go mad
Consider me, a man invisible
Delighting in a voyeur's adventures
Eyes that can stare unseen at anything;
For even in this spectacle choked age
Gazes unwanted are still loathed and scorned
However, when the witness can’t be seen
It is as if the deed was never done
Just you and me, and you don’t know I’m here
Knowing that you think you know you are safe
Like an actor without an audience
Makes monitoring you most marvelous
Never suspecting that, in the shadows
One critic scoffs at your silly antics
Prance and puke and pirouette, you ponce!
Question yourself, your gods, the lousy script
Recall your many regrets and failures
Stuff my senses with all of your secrets
Tomorrow, I will visit you again
Unsatisfied, eager to watch you live
Viewing scenes you think you play in private
Watching as you relax, sigh, undress
X-rays have never glimpsed what I have seen
You have no idea what nakedness is!
Zones forbidden are familiar to me

This is so creepy! Excellent work.
Now that was creepy, lol! Loved your poem!
Deftly done! I don't want to be watched! Mind you, I'm not sure my life is interesting enough to attract a voyeur. Still, this was not nice.

This gave me chills! Outstanding work as usual!
I can’t see you but I felt your poem! It was fun and quirky but made me think of a few things! 😁
