I Enjoy, Dislike and am Unsure of Many Things
Write your own, it’s liberating

I enjoy many things.
Undiscovered artists,
Patterns that have no end,
When people tell me about their day,
Balconies,
Rouge lipstick,
Vintage glass wear,
Ants,
Poets that speak about mundane occurrences,
Green eyes,
Stained glass windows,
Weeds,
Hard mattresses,
Faux fur,
The rain, heavy, mist, or light,
Costumes,
Listening to the things people love,
Green velvet,
Blueberries,
Floor lamps with tassel edging,
Specifically white,
Specifically black animals.
Singular soft kisses,
The colour of sea glass with sunlight behind it,
Tweed jackets,
Decorative ornaments,
Art deco architecture,
People who stay in touch an appropriate amount,
Bare feet,
Lace bras,
Winding stair cases,
Teapots,
When someone pretends to be interested in your passions,
Volvos,
Hats that serve no purpose,
Red wine,
When people speak so much, yet never reach their point,
Soft textures,
Sculpture,
Pasta.
I also dislike many things.
Wet socks,
Narrow staircases,
Tequila,
Soft mattresses,
Invalidation,
Desk jobs,
Hospital food,
Recliners,
Numbers,
Clothes that are too tight,
Minimalism,
Culdesacs,
Sweaters,
When you accidentally tread on snails,
Old people,
Neighbours,
Cigarettes,
Unnecessary laughing,
America,
Soup,
Leeches,
Blue dresses,
When there are too many rooms in one house,
Loud doorbells,
Not knowing what people are doing in skyscrapers,
People who contact you simply too often,
Bananas,
Working at a job for too long,
Elitists.
The thoughts of cows in the rain.
I am unsure of many things.
Hippos,
The name Edgar,
Babies,
Wearing short skirts,
Eggs,
Doors that creak,
Pearls,
Floral armchairs,
Long hair,
Hedges,
White tennis shoes,
Townhouses,
Owning clothes you will never wear,
Cracks in the pavement,
White wine,
Gifted jewellery,
Blue eyes,
Secateurs,
The phrase, ‘Beating around the bush’,
Short last names,
Goats,
Umbrellas,
Chain grocery stores,
Marriage,
People who don’t care to contact you at all,
Roses,
The time just before it becomes dusk,
Long intros to films,
Cars that don’t often work,
Alphabetical order.
Clichés
About the Creator
Avalon Daffodil
I have barely read, have not listened to many.
Though am inspired enormously.
I begin by living, then find artistry in things that I resonate with.
