I Dream Of Achieving Success

The full moon watches me as I fall into a deep sleep,

It bathes me in its soft, shimmering, silver light,

Comforting me as I drift, slowly, slowly, into

A deep, peaceful slumber.

As I drift into a peaceful, safe, sleep; I know that,

I am beautiful, loved, worthy, and valued,

I can achieve anything that I put my mind to,

Though, who will I be? Doctor? Nurse? School teacher?

Writer?

I drift further, and further, and deeper into my magical, peaceful

Slumber.

I dream of making people better, saving lives, and teaching children;

So many dreams to choose from, and so little time.

The moon comforts me throughout the night, shining his

Beautiful, silver bright light in my dreams,

Reflecting on my future,

Making me feel safe enough to make a choice,

Showing me my future prize.

The morning comes, and the sun shines softly,

Opening my mind;

I realize that it is me, and only me; who can open up

the door to my future, and leave the past behind.
