When I dream, I dream vibrantly

I dream in color

Loving the skin cover imbued to one another

Along this human experience, this rainbow coalition

Seeking our purpose, the point of it all

Our collective mission

Through our oneness and sameness

And simultaneous uniqueness

We speak this same desire

For love…

We seek this

Love…

We all seek this…

It can be fleeting, but we need this

Our colors, mesh and vibe and constantly flow

They intertwine and comingle and cooperatively glow

At least that’s what they’re supposed to do...

You know?

Yeeah, you know…

We all know that we know…

But some don’t dream color

They see only Black & White

They fight the light

Strive against what’s right

They’d rather do life full of hatred and strife

Their shortsightedness is the source of my plight

Innately I want to love my fellow man

I do all that I can to make them understand

We’re all the same on this Earth that we claim

And they only cause pain when they play these dumb games

They fight their own nature by being so spiteful

They’re missing the point of it all

The light…

So…

I tell them incessantly

We get this one life experience, one shot

Like it or not, this one’s all we got

We can’t afford to waste this grand chance

This one opportunity to laugh, sing and dance

It didn’t happen by happenstance

We have to respect this gift, this brief glance

At euphoria, joyous, cosmic perfection

This divine intention, this Godly selection

I see them…

The one’s stuck in Black & White

My hope is that one day they’ll wake up to what’s right

After spending the night finally dreaming in color

Maybe they’ll see me too

...and stop treating me as other
