I don't know

For your children.

A walk in the woods, a bird singing.

We lie down in the grass to dream.

Next to us is a dancing river.

A dark shadow, our hearts begin to shiver.

Majestic mountains covered in eternal snow.

Animals that don't know where to go.

There's nothing left in the valley.

Oh my God! Where are they ?

In the sky-blue sea in summer.

Dolphins follow us step by step.

They look at these monstrous boats.

They wonder why they float.

The green of money hides the truth.

White dresses show hypocrisy.

The blue of the sky gives us hope.

But in our hearts, there's only black.

One day, our children will ask us why?

A lie in our eyes, and we'll say, the faith.

What did you do? Daddy, no!

With a tear in my eye, I'll answer, I don't know.
