I Do Not Mind
I do not mind,
Your charm captivates me, for you are my beloved, my companion.
Today is mine, life is mine, and you alone are by my side.
Your beauty, my love, is a spell cast upon my world
But be assured,
I do not mind.
My trust in you rests within my heart, my heart that is yours.
I do not mind.
My gaze is enough to show all my affection,
And my soul rises, guarding and escorting,
A beautiful spirit ascending to the heavens.
To you, I give my deepest self,
And so, I wrote these verses, my song of you,
Unafraid of blame from those who chide my love,
For I do not mind.
This world holds my peace,
And home, my joy.
You are my happiness, my beauty, my paradise.
My poetry and words suffice,
They bring my soul peace and my spirit soars.
I offer them freely to love and to you,
For no other air do I seek?
