I Didn’t Say That Out Loud
The time isn’t right, I need a big Audience for this one

I Didn’t Say That Out Loud
When you belittled me in front of your wife
I didn’t destroy you,
by saying to her laughing face
Don’t you dare laugh,
I had him many times,
in my bed,
on my floor. In your bed also.
I didn’t tell you
his darling wife,
he said I excited him
to the point of making love
four times in a row
I didn’t wipe the smile off your faces
because I choose not to
Not just yet.
However
I will
one day
that is a promise.
Just for now
I let you both play
and laugh out loud.
you laugh please do,
while he watches
in an amused fear
of you going too far.
Yes, too far
his darling wife
that the fat lady will come out,
not to play no,no
but to sing a song
she has rehearsed so well

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

This is one to see oneself and hopefully a poem that will have people thinking is that the right or wrong way to think during that kind of situation. Good job.
