I Didn't Say It

Words Failed

I didn't say it

How could I?

I kept silent

Words failed

I didn't want to hurt you

I was timid, afraid.

What would you think of me?

How would you react?

Would you

Cry,

Rant,

Scream,

Walk away?

What I didn't say,

Hurt me.

Inside, I'm

Crying,

Ranting,

Screaming,

Finally,

Walking away

Indeed, bottling it up is painful. It's better to just be honest. Great poem!
