I cried for you the day you had to go.

I cried for you, because I love you so!

I cried for you as I held on tight.

I wasn’t ready to let go…

I cried in the night beneath the moons glow.

I don’t remember a time before I’ve felt so low.

There was so much I needed to know, as the tears run down my face.

I sit here feeling so out of place.

I long to see your glowing face.

I wish to sit with you in a loving embrace.

Despite my longing, wishing and pleading, you have left without a trace.

There is no one who will ever replace.

The love I feel for you can neither be contained by time or space.

The memories of you I will never erase.

I pray that I God shows me grace,

when it’s finally time to reunite with you face to face.

I can hardly wait to see the glory and peace of heaven that surely awaits.

Until then, I know I’ll cry for you still.

I love you so much, and I’ll hold on tight…
