I Could Just Hold You
a poem from a time passed by…

I could just hold your belly
in my hands
Your thighs,
Your breasts,
Your face in my hands.
I could just hold your
Heart in this space
Your mind on my tongue
Your forehead against mine ,
Your hands in my hands .
When we make love,
I don’t hold back
Because you’ve got me, you’ve got me
For now , in this space,
your body
Against me
Your mouth on my edges .
I love you.
These simple things,
You, all of you
Is what I want
This treasured moment
To be in.
To say that I keep your heart
In my hands
Your head in my arms
Your body against me
Making love
In the Morning I am Yours,
In the Evening I am Yours,
All day my mind
Comes back to you,
And what I see is beautiful.
