I CHOOSE THE MAN

and perhaps, this is the point.

I choose the man

I choose the man, because every time I

do not, I harm my father

I choose the man, because every time I

do not, I harm my brothers

I choose the man, because every time I

do not, I harm my sons

I choose the man, because every time I

do not, I harm myself

I fracture something inside me because I also contain him. My seed was planted in his world, because of him. When I deny this truth, I create further division in this world.

The message is a very serious one Cath. Not all men are created equal, so choose wisely. Another lovely poem. Well done.
