I can't remember a lot of things,

The names, the dates, the songs that sing,

The faces blur and blend as one,

Memories fading, now almost gone.

What did I eat for breakfast today?

Did I go outside or choose to stay?

My mind plays tricks, it's hard to tell,

Lost in a fog, trapped in a spell.

But some memories cling like vines,

Etched deep within, they still shine,

The laughter, love, and moments kind,

Forever imprinted on my mind.

So though my memory may fade,

Moments cherished won't evade,

For in my heart, they'll always stay,

And I'll treasure them come what may.
