I Blame My Heart

Torn Between Love and Silence

I Blame My Heart

I blame myself for loving you,

For hiding all I felt so true.

You lit my heart, my every vein

But where to go with all this pain?

I’m torn between two hearts I know,

One holds me back, one lets me go.

So tell me now, which path to take?

And how to mend a heart that breaks?

For years, my soul has walked with yours,

Yet never knocked on open doors.

I bled in silence, smiled through scars,

And loved you more than all the stars.

But silent love is sharp and deep,

It steals my breath, it haunts my sleep.

No blame can soothe, no words explain

So where to go with all this strain?

You fade each day and leave me still,

I chase you through each dream I fill.

I live a life inside my mind,

Where love is real, though undefined.

And so I stay, and so I write,

Of love that lost its way to light.

I blame myself for loving you

For all these years. And still I do.

Wow, this one hits hard! The line "I bled in silence, smiled through scars"? It’s both heartbreaking and beautiful.✨
