I am, Wolf.

She howls and growls, a wolf, a woman.

By L DurantPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

You cannot convince me I am a gazelle

I have only ever known the way of the bloodthirsty wolf

thriving because of sagacity and savagery

never knowing the blissful frolic in the waves of euphoric wonder

I am cutthroat and malicious, hungry

lingering over my prey and relishing in my conquer

tempestuous, the kill is ecstasy

You cannot confine me like the gazelle.

Never will I be quenched with mediocrity

the yearning for bounteous indulgences subsides slowly

I know fighting is the only resolution

I will not rely on bewitchment like the gazelle.

I am wolf, and I am woman.
