I am the yellow of a summer's day

A daffodil blowing in the breeze

I am the white of a winter landscape

A snowflake falling to freeze

I am the blue of a tranquil sea

Waves rippling against the shore

I am the orange of an autumn tree

Leaves fluttering to the floor

I am the red of a beautiful sun

Dipping below the hill

I am the green of a rich, lush meadow

Tranquil, majestic and still

I am the black of a cold, bleak night

The sounds of the wildlife so clear

I am the brown of a forest floor

The scampering of a young deer

I am the pink of the early sunrise

Slowly waking up the day

I am all colours , all colours are me

The sky, the ocean, the flower, the

nature poetry
