I am bloodshot eyes and tear stained cheeks, flushed skin and bitten lips. I am a cold-bitten nose and sun-kissed skin, raw and extreme in my duality.
I am satin lipstick painted across a silken smile, the tender shape of my cupids bow pressed to your neck in a crimson kiss. I taste bitter on your tongue but against the white of your teeth, I am a beautiful mess.
I am rose petals held in delicate hands, my velvet touch and saccharine scent a secret promise between lovers. I am light enough to be carried by a whisper of breeze, though squeeze me tightly and I will stain your fingers the same colour brought by my thorns.
Caress me softly and I will give you beauty.
Treat me roughly and I will bite.
