Bloodied knuckles and one scraped knee, the way I blush when she smiles at me. I am Red.
Pumpkin patches and Autum leaves, fiery sunsets and the flowers she weaves. I am Orange.
Bumble bees and lemonade, Coldplay song, so overplayed. I am Yellow.
Dark emeralds and shining jade, tall trees and the grass in which we laid. I am Green.
Peacocks and clear skies, blueberries and her eyes. I am Blue.
Sapphires and moldavite, the color of the sky, following the fading light. I am Indigo.
The tiaras Sappho wove from the flowers, and the fields of lavender where we sat for hours. I am Violet.
I am the entire rainbow. Give me some space, and watch me grow.
